At Hobson Cycles, we have a combined experience of over 40 years in cycle repairs & maintenance and have been involved in cycle sports for as many years. For many years, we have been customers of other cycle stores ourselves and even having worked in other cycle stores too, so, we know how frustrating it can be as a customer having to deal with some cycle stores. We understand what you the cyclist, you the customer wants & expects from your local cycle store.
Involved in cycle sports since 1981!
We have been riding BMX since 1981 and practically began racing BMX as soon as we could ride a bike. Competing in regional & national events from 1983 - 86. In 1986, we left the racing scene to ride freestyle BMX, and from 1987, performing in demos and shows in schools, sports centres and public events across the Northwest. Also in 1987, competing in regional & National amateur BMX contests. From 1987 onwards, competing at an expert level in flatland, street & vert at regional & national UKBFA freestyle Championships & Bfa Champs of champs across the UK until 1994 and still continuing to ride BMX to this day.

With having experienced staff, who are actively involved in & ride cycle sports, we have a much more hands on experience than many other cycle stores. Having had first hand experience when it comes to identifying problems, modifying and machining parts, repairing & maintaining cycles to an absolute professional standard, your bike will be in the best hands!
